Fancy Horse Ranch is accepting students for 2008/2009 English and Western riding courses.
Junior (age 9 to 18) or adult group rates from $35 to $40 per lesson depends on the number of riders 1 to 3 at Riding Time
Riding time: Mondays 4:00 pm
or Sundays 10:am or 2:pm
Private lessons for all ages your horse or ours $50 also available

We are excited to offer comprehensive lessons and/or schooling boarding service at our state of the art equestrian facility.
Riders of all styles and ages are welcome as well as all breeds of horses. We fit your program for your needs and goals
During the program, you will learn to teach your horse to be obedient, relaxed and safe to ride for beginner or advanced rider alike.
You will learn how to work a horse from the ground up and be in control in any situation.
You and your horse will receive a solid foundation that will last you a lifetime and will enable you to achieve your equine goals be it pleasure riding or serious competition. You will be able to ride and compete with more confidence than ever before.
About instructor Elena Higginbotham:
Elena started her training in Europe. As a young girl she eagerly volunteered for barn work in order to spend time around horses. She helped maintain a seventy horse racing stable including exercising thoroughbreds and assisting during lessons.
Later in life she was blessed with the opportunity to meet her husband and a great partner of many years, Joe Higginbotham. With his incredible help and support she has been able to continue her riding and instruction career
Elena provides equestrian instruction based on her unique combination of learning experience from well known instructors and clinicians around the world. She has had the opportunity to ride under the instruction of Kurd Albrecht Von Ziegner who is a world recognized dressage champion and the author of the book “Elements of dressage” and his son Botho Von Ziegner who is the director of their riding school In Mechtersen, Germany
In America she has learned from clinicians of both English and Western riding schools such as Clinton Andersen, John and Josh Lyons, Lynn Palm and others. Elena has spent time with US dressage bronze silver and gold medalist and Grand Prix rider Sue Mandas and USDF competitor Lupe Guardaras.
With G-d's help these great riders have lead to her success as an equestrian instructor. Elena’s warmest appreciation is extended to her long time trainer a great teacher, rider and successful USDF competitor Sue Burdan. Sue’s incredible personal qualities like honesty, wisdom , optimism, professionalism and her 30 years of experience and extensive knowledge has made Elena a successful rider. Elena is a member of USDF and a first and third place competition winner.
She is also a licensed and fully insured instructor
